Just happened upon this place as we were heading to a nearby pottery place. We decided to check it out, and its a great place! In the store, they sell all kinds of items for home and decor, as well as fresh local sources meat. Other cooking and food items as well as local honey, jellies, and sauses. The owners were very friendly and we definitely will go back soon to get some meat to try. They even have ostrich meat for those who can't eat beef.

We stayed in the little red cabin for my husband's birthday. We loved it. The cabin was so cute and cozy. We didn't want to leave. We plan on going back again but this time we will stay longer. We loved visiting with the cows and exploring the farm. Plus the Mountain Mushroom Festival was happening the same weekend we stayed at Red Haven and that was a lot of fun to see that too.

My wife and I have stayed here now about five times and this time we stayed at the Drifter Cabin for a full week. We really enjoyed ourselves and were blessed by the experience. While having meals on the back porch we routinely saw deer and turkey plus other interesting wildlife. The service was great as anything we asked of the owners was promptly taken care of. We also enjoyed walking on some of the paths provided and also enjoyed playing in the creek some. Drive time to the Pinnacles for hiking was about 15 minutes so staying at Red Haven was a good base. One of the main reasons we choose to stay here is the full kitchen and washer/dryer. We did visit the store which is really nice and they had what we were looking for.

My wife and I stayed a couple nights in the drifter cabin. The cabin was clean, roomy, and fully equipped. It even had a little propane grill that we were able to cook bratwurst from the farm on for dinner. The farm is a great location with major grocery stores within 20-30 minutes and smaller stores 10 minutes away.

We did a farm tour as a family and it was a fabulous experience! Our nine year old wanted to say, “I would give this farm a million stars if I could!” We saw all of the animals and took a side by side drive around the property. Sandy & Martin are fabulous hosts. My wife and I had a great stay at the Red Haven Farmhouse. The house was very welcoming and comfy and the grounds were 540 acres of peaceful bliss. We loved doing the farm tour with Martin and meeting all the different animals, including their 4 dogs. The house is in the perfect location. It's close to the towns of Berea and Irvine, but far enough out that you can look up at night and see millions of stars. Our only regret is that we only booked 4 days and not more.
